Join us for an insightful panel discussion and learn from industry experts: what is new and what is important, what they are spending their money on and how to stay up to date in this ever evolving area. Whether you're new to ESG reporting or looking to deepen your understanding, this event will provide valuable takeaways for anyone managing (or wanting to learn) ESG disclosures and regulations.


After the panel presentations, there will be ample time for informal networking.


MODERATOR:


Hamoda Youssef - Director of Client Development at ClimateFirst Building Solutions

Hamoda is a dedicated sustainability advocate with over fifteen years of experience in climate action. Over the last decade, Hamoda has been a proactive agent of change through various roles and dynamic multi-stakeholder and multi-discipline engagements. This journey for tangible climate actions and streamlined sustainability practices has honed Hamoda’s skills in systemic thinking, communications, business development and delivery across various market segments.

As a LEED and WELL Faculty, Living-Future Ambassador, Regenerative Practitioner, and LEGO SERIOUS PLAY Facilitator, Hamoda facilitates sustainability strategies, advocacy, and planning. This builds on his studies in architecture and a Master of Environmental Planning degree from Italy that allowed him to focus on sustainability integration within urban development.


SPEAKERS:


Maria Contreras - Director, Sustainability Strategy & Integration at Energy Advantage

Maria has over a decade of experience in ESG and sustainability consulting. She has helped diverse clientele improve their bottom line by developing and implementing energy and sustainability programs aligned with their business strategies. As part of her leading role in sustainability programs for Fortune 500 companies and others, Maria has assisted with submissions to numerous reporting frameworks (i.e., CDP, GRESB, SDG, GRI, TCFD, etc.). She holds a Bachelor’s in Environmental Studies, an M.Sc. in Sustainable Environmental Development & Management and recently completed a diploma in Circular Economy & Sustainability Strategies at Cambridge.


Shashanka Suresh - Director, Sustainability & ESG

Shashanka is an experienced sustainability leader with over a decade in the field. A chemical engineering graduate, he has built his career as an environmental engineer and sustainability consultant, developing carbon calculators for the real estate and hospitality sectors, conducting energy audits, and engaging in ESG ratings research and green building certifications. He also has substantial experience in the climate tech space, focusing on disclosures and reporting. Currently, he leads the sustainability reporting team at the Dream group of companies, driving ESG disclosures and implementing strategies to advance sustainability for the built environment.
