CEP Toronto Presents: A Midsummer Night Virtual Social

Miss going to in-person sustainability networking events? We sure do!

On September 9, CEP-Toronto is hosting a fun virtual social event for sustainability professionals to meet and mingle in a casual, life-like environment to chat about sustainability topics (What will it take to really get to Net Zero? How can we eliminate those pestering plastics once and for all?), fun topics (Post-covid travel plans? Favourite restaurants or bars in the city?), or whatever else your heart desires!

To keep things interesting, the virtual event space will be made up of a few different "rooms" that attendees can choose to be in, each with a different pre-selected discussion topic. 

THEMES/ DISCUSSION ROOMS:

1. Sustainability: Miss having heated debates about sustainability issues like how to tackle climate change, net zero strategies, circular ecnomy, or how to achieve sustainable air travel? Our Sustainability "rooms" have you covered! Whether you want to chat about what your company is doing to cut its GHG emissions, or just share the latest green living products, this is your chance to do so in our Sustainability rooms!

2. Fun & Casual: Don't feel like discussing anything too serious after work hours? No problem! Join our Fun & Casual "rooms" to chat about more light-hearted topics like where you hope to travel once the pandemic is over, or share some of your favourite coffee shops, restaurants, or wine bars in the city.

3. Games: For those who are feeling a bit competitive and want to play a fun virtual game with fellow sustainability professionals, we have a Games "room" for you to get out your competitive edge as well! (Exact game is TBD)
