CEP Toronto is pleased to announce our 2nd event of the year, The New Economy: How Sharing Economy is a More Sustainable Economy.

Join us on August 18th at Loft 404 where we are going to investigate not only the usual suspects of the sharing economy, but also the factors that are forging new patterns of consumption, community, and participation in economic activity, all of which have a potentially strong impact on the two of the pillars of sustainability – environment and society.

While the Sharing Economy is currently in its infancy, in its entirety and potential it is a new and alternative socio-economic system which embeds sharing and collaboration at its heart – across all aspects of social and economic life.

Guest speakers include:

Kevin McLaughlin, Founder, AutoShare
Ryan Dyment, Co-Founder, Toronto Tool Library
Tim Nash, The Sustainable Economist
Ksenia Benifand, Aeon Strategies

Display Booths from:

Repair Cafe

The Kitchen Library

Fees
CEP members attend free and $10 for non-members. Appetizers and refreshments will be provided.
